Summary:
This successful candidate will support the Maximus Human Resources Support Center. The Human Resources admin will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks on the phone, via email, and web chat with internal and external clients. This candidate must be professional and pleasant with exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge in Benefits questions, meeting deadlines, and assist in special projects as directed.
Job Summary:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to customers, staff and management regarding Maximus processes such as workflow and proper approvals for audit tracking of HR functions.
- Develop proficiency in policy and procedure interpretation and responds appropriately to customer inquiries.
- Assists with miscellaneous departmental duties and special projects as required.
- Performs data entry in a variety of Human Resources software such as Workday, iCIMS, and Costpoint.
- Primary responsibilities will be to respond to inquiries via phone, tickets and chat.
- Provide Benefits overview questions.
- Prioritize time to meet demanding deadlines and SLAs.
- Research appropriate solutions and work with necessary parties, such as Human Resources, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits and IT team to resolve issues.
- Maintain records of customer responses.
- Maintains a professional demeanor especially during difficult and stressful situations
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0 - 2 years of related experience.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Requires independent judgment, good organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Punctuality and consistent attendance required.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
