We are growing rapidly and are looking to add an experienced Generalist to our HR Team. This role reports to the HR Director and will have responsibilities across many facets of HR. To be successful in this high growth environment, you will need to adapt quickly to changing priorities, be confident in taking ownership of processes and projects, have a continuous learning mindset, and a passion for providing a positive employee experience.
This is a hybrid/remote role, but incumbent is required to travel to Raleigh 1-2x per month for training and team planning with the Raleigh-based HR Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Policies & Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company's HR policies and practices adhere to legal requirements.
- Exit Process: Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews, and handling necessary paperwork.
- Performance Management: Help with the performance review process, tracking deadlines, and ensuring that performance reviews are conducted timely and accurately.
- Talent Acquisition: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, assisting with offer letter creation, and communicating with candidates.
- Onboarding: Own the onboarding process for new hires, communicating with new hires and business leaders pre-start, ensuring that necessary paperwork is completed, coordinating and leading orientation sessions, and facilitating their smooth integration into the company.
- HR Project Management: Own and/or support various HR projects, such as implementing new HR programs, process improvements, or cross-functional projects where HR knowledge is requested.
- HR Administration: Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating databases, managing HR files, and processing HR-related documents.
- Employee Communications: Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communications related to HR policies, company updates, and other relevant information.
- HR Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and utilize HR data to gain insights into workforce trends, turnover rates, and other metrics, and regularly report findings to leadership team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field required
- 1+ years of working on a hybrid or remote HR Team
- Proven learner who finds satisfaction in problem solving and continuous improvement to impact the business positively
- Must be agile and able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of service for our employees
- Strong aptitude for HR technology, including 3+ years HRIS and reporting experience
- HR M&A experience a plus
- 3-5 years of experience on a corporate HR Team in a high growth company required, experience in tech or professional services preferred
