The Role
We are seeking a versatile individual combining strong project management and communications skills as well as a steadfast customer service orientation to join Ghost as a Recruiting Operations Generalist. Working directly with the Head of Recruiting, the Generalist will be responsible for managing various aspects of the recruitment process from optimizing our usage of our Applicant Tracking System to ensuring an excellent candidate experience. Above all, this person will be tenacious and highly motivated by the challenge of attracting world class people to Ghost.
What you will do:
- Liaise with hiring managers to understand needs, formulate job specifications, and align on interviewer slates
- Ensure we are maximizing our return on investment in various third-party platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn)
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and Ghost employees
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment in which priorities change quickly
- Act as the “face of Ghost” for applicants and recruitment agencies during the early stages of the process, including welcoming them during onsite visits to our headquarters
- Identify and execute on recruitment process improvement opportunities
- Conduct background verification and reference checks for late stage candidates
- Create documentation on various processes for both internal and external audiences
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Robust organizational and project management skills
- 3+ years in talent acquisition, with technical recruitment experience a plus
- High level of attention to detail and ability to juggle large volumes of work
- Tenacity and consistent application of growth mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Customer service orientation, with a can-do, “no task is too large or too small” attitude
- Demonstrable excitement for the recruiting function
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Greenhouse
- Strong judgment and comfort with ambiguity

Compensation
Compensation for this role consists of a base salary and an options grant, with the base salary expected to range from $90,000 to $110,000+. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
