JOB BRIEF


We are seeking a talented Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The Human Resource Generalist will provide HR support to a designated business unit for all functions during the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management,talent development and retention.

What Do We Expect From You


What you will do


  • Assist business leaders with entire employee life cycle including onboarding, performance management, talent calibration, talent growth and development, compensation planning and administration for an assigned business unit(s)
  • Lead the Job architecture project working closely with the HR team and various stakeholders. Work with leadership and the HR team to develop and implement a competency framework, job levels, compensation bands and career pathing for the entire organization
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Assist with employee relations matters including Investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Process employee payroll and benefits using an HRIS
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Familiarity with HR Systems, including an HRIS, Talent Management systems and data driven decision making. Analyzing reports to report on patterns and trends to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Partner with business leaders to understand and execute the organization’s people and culture strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, performance management,compensation reviews,employee wellness, learning and development and overall talent attraction and retention.


Who you are


  • Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach.
  • Seven plus years of human resource experience is preferred.
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
  • Proficient with Google Suite.
  • Ability to work west coast hours (PST) to provide coverage for the HR team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks as appropriate.
  • Experience leading and implementing Job architecture for a similar organization is high desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or SPHR, SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Proficiency in or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

SALARY RANGE:


$65,000 to $80,000
