Summary


The Administrative Assistant, Recruiting position will be responsible for assisting the Recruiting Team with full-cycle recruitment, hire packets, pre-employment checks, partial onboarding, management of staffing agencies and internal talent for positions within Glovis America. This role will focus on the administrative duties associated with full-cycle recruitment.


Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct initial candidate phone screens
  • Review resumesand source for qualified applicants
  • Assist with HQ recruiting responsibilities, including temp to perm conversions, hire packets, background checks, etc.
  • Responsible for verifying and confirmation of hiring packets put together by agreed upon standards
  • Send new hire announcements to required personnel at least one week in advance (or ASAP upon special circumstances)
  • Facilitate Initial Onboarding for New Hires
  • Schedule in-person interviews with potential candidates for assigned Recruiter and Hiring Managers
  • Staffing Agencies & Temporary Employees
  • Work with members of the HR Team to ensure the New Hire is entered in Paycom, proper communication has been sent out, and New Hire and Benefits orientations are scheduled
  • Draft offer letters, collect candidate documents, process background checks, and schedule drug screenings
  • Communicate with staffing agencies nationwide
  • Review and qualify background checks and drug screens
  • Review and revise s and post positions
  • Communicate with IT to ensure that equipment is set-up and shipped out, if necessary
  • Other Duties as Assigned
  • Administrative Support for HQ Recruiting Team
  • Initiate hiring process for Temp Employees


Compensation Range


  • $45,000 - $49,000 per year

Skills


  • IntermediatePC skills including experience in Microsoft Excel, Word,and PowerPoint
  • Must possess excellent time-management skillsand critical-thinking ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
  • Work independently with minimal supervision


Education & Experience


  • Associates Degree Preferred
  • 1 - 3 Years of Related Work Experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, and/or Administration Preferred
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
  • 0 - 1 Year of Relevant Work Experience

  • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
