Reporting to the US Head of People, as the People Operations Generalist you’ll partner closely with the US People team to provide operational support relating to all People processes, programs, and systems. Your work will touch every employee at every stage in their employment lifecycle and is vital to our ongoing commitment to provide an exceptional employee experience. As the People Operations Generalist you’ll also have the opportunity to partner closely with our global People team, working together to foster our distinctive culture and create a memorable employee experience across sites.

Here are a few of the things you will do:
  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and relevant laws keeping HoneyBook in compliance with local laws
  • Manage the day-to-day operations functions and duties, including maintaining accurate People ons of the People systems and answering employee inquiries
  • Generate Reports and analytics based on organization needs and drive insights for People Team initiative using HRIS and other systems’ data
  • Support the full employment lifecycle of our employees from onboarding through off-boarding to make the experience seamless for everyone involved (People Team, Managers, New Hires)
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, such as policies, benefits and procedures
  • Administer HR systems and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information and records
  • Manage immigration process for employees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance and IT, to ensure HR data integrity and system integration
  • Assist with HR policy development and implementation as well as updating existing policies/company handbook, processes, and communications
  • Support employee benefits administration, including enrollment, promotion of programs, and addressing employee inquiries. Analyze our current offerings and determine if new benefits should be added to ensure our competitiveness in the market
  • Manage process documentation, ensuring accuracy and guiding people back to where they can find this information, building the self-service muscle
  • Own and improve the contractor and consultant process, including sending necessary contracts, storing contracts, and keeping track of systems/tools they have access to
  • Facilitate the process and backend steps of our ongoing People Initiatives such as the Feedback and Comp Cycles, Engagement Survey, and Recognition Program. Work in close partnership with your People Operations counterpart in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

  • Understand industry trends and processes and are able to translate them to HoneyBook
Here Is What Is Needed
  • Prior experience supporting a multi-state & remote employee population strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR systems and databases such as HiBob, CulturalAmp, etc.; more importantly though, the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices coupled with knowledge of US employment laws and regulations
  • 3+ yrs prior experience in HR Operations/Generalist role in the Hi-Tech industry
