Job Description

This is an exciting position for a 12-month assignment Human Resources Generalist professional and would report to the Senior Manager, People Operations. The responsibilities of this position are those of an experienced full cycle generalist supporting People Operations including Talent Acquisition.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions.
  • Work with the Senior Manager/Vice President of People Operations on various People Operations related projects.
  • Support and/or lead all administrative tasks for new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance for all corporate associates.
  • Administer all leave policies and programs.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. As needed.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events as needed.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • Joint support of external payroll consultant including the preparation and processing of payroll.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and talent management.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, compensation, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance, employee relations and talent management.
  • Data reporting to finance and some analytics. As needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation for all corporate associates.


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Confident, engaging, and professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, and strong ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, strong Excel skill required (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • 4-6 years of HR generalist experience required (must have worked in multiple functions of human resources)
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience
  • A creative thinker and strategic problem-solver

This position is based in our El Segundo, CA headquarters, which is currently 40% hybrid onsite/remote work.


The expected base salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
