Overview People Operations Generalists are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of an organization's human resources department. They ensure that all personnel policies and procedures are followed and that all employees are treated fairly and equitably. They also provide support to managers and employees on a variety of HR-related topics, such as employee relations, benefits, and payroll. Detailed Job Description People Operations Generalists are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization's human resources department. They ensure that all personnel policies and procedures are followed and that all employees are treated fairly and equitably. They also provide support to managers and employees on a variety of HR-related topics, such as employee relations, benefits, and payroll. People Operations Generalists are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees. They also manage employee records, administer benefits, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, they may provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on a variety of HR-related topics. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least three years of experience in a human resources role
• Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
• Knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes
Job Experience
• At least three years of experience in a human resources role
• Experience in a supervisory role is preferred
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the human resources department
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Administer benefits and payroll
• Recruit, onboard, and train new employees
• Manage employee records
• Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on a variety of HR-related topics
• Resolve employee relations issues
• Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures
