Job Description
JOB TITLE: HR Generalist
SUPERVISED BY: CHRO
STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

Duties And Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Human Resource Officer, the Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the administrative human resources functions of VCCHC. The DHR will oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff, consult with top executives on strategic planning and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees.
  • Keeps current with employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensures VCCHC is compliant with federal and state employment labor laws, CHOP, and other regulatory bodies by assisting with regular audits.
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting other departments as needed while maintaining the confidentiality of VCCHC business.
  • Meets with HR team on a regular basis to ensure HR tasks are completed.
  • Work cooperatively with all staff members and outside sources in a professional manner to deliver a high level
  • Administers benefits programs and leave of absence.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are followed advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits striving for consistency, continuity, fairness, and standardization.

  • Assist in all aspects of the credentialing process for all providers and line staff as designated and required by HRSA and FTCA guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Card.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from a four-year university in Business Administration with a special emphasis in Human Resources; or Current valid SPHR Certificate and five years of experience as an HR Manager in the field of Human Resources Management; or Ten years of continuous experience as an HR Manager.
  • Valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance coverage;
  • Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have a reliable automobile for use on the job (mileage to be reimbursed);
  • Special Requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong facilitation skills, and experience leading presentations or workshops.

Salary 65,000 to 70,000 based on experience.
