People Planner Jobs

This role will report into the Total Talent Partner for a specific Agency/OpCo and support the allocation of talent
based on Resource Management and Internal Mobility practices for the specific agency while keeping a
holistic mindset for GroupM and WPP capacity planning.
Your Key Responsibilities in the Role:
Resource Management

• Proactively reviews available data to understand current state of business for client group and couples

learnings with information gathered by Total Talent Partner (TTP) related to new business wins, change
in scope, business initiatives etc.

• Partners with TTP and Commercial leadership to understand staff plans, staff plan priorities and goals

and offers solutions as well as execute on activities to fulfill business needs

• Collaborate with TTP and TTP Ops to ensure systems and stakeholders are accurate current and

systems reflect real time updates

• Consistently follow standard operating procedures to ensure both staffing and other talent tools such

as Jobvite and Trinity have impeccable data integrity to drive accuracy

• Understand business priorities and identify as well as influence fulfillment solutions to fill gaps
• Be a right-hand partner to the Total Talent Partner to ensure staff plans are fulfilled promptly with top

quality by shifting internal resources, facilitating flex offers, collaborating with TA when both internal and
external candidates are considered for openings.
Internal Mobility

• Maintaining a pulse on the talent supply by continually identifying utilization, capacity and regularly

engaging with staff to learn about career interest to have proactive ideas to staffing needs

• Understand staffing changes the business needs, have highly influential and empathetic conversations

to realign talent to pressing business matters that also support ongoing growth for careers. Growth
often means skill enhancements, (it does not need to be official promotions)

• Field inbound inquiries about career options, hearing the desires of people, pointing people to Learning

offering to ensure people are always expanding skills to support business needs, organizing interviews
for intra agency openings and collaborating with peers to consider cross agency opportunities.

• Providing a positive experience for employees by clearly sharing process, policies and next steps in the

journey. Facilitating conversations that could be challenging when employees desires are not aligned
with business needs, ideal timing or company approach.

• Ensure a fair and equitable process is executed support our DEI initiatives especially around mobility and

career progress on all people

• Drive diversity of Talent into client and project teams – ensure casted Talent represents a diverse set of

backgrounds, skillsets and expertise.

• Understand immediate staffing needs raised by the business and creates solutions for People
