Business Planner Jobs

It’s an exciting time to join LOEWE as we go through a period of rapid growth.

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Business Planner is accountable for maximizing business in the region though inventory; responsible for building the right sales plans, by category, to cover merchandising objectives and accurately forecast replenishment product needs.

This role is the bridge between Merchandising, Finance and Supply chain both within the region and central.

They will support the decision-making process by providing appropriate analysis, identification of trends and recommendations at a store / cluster level.

This position will report to the US Supply Chain Director and will be based in New York.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business planning for all categories in the region

• Lead collaboration and validation efforts between Merchandising, Finance, Controlling and Country Managers
• Own long term best estimate business plan for the region at gender / category level.
• Responsible for preparing budgets, revisions, and planning of OTB from a merchandising perspective for all categories in the region at store / cluster level

Sales planning for all categories in the region

• Revise monthly sales plan at SKU level (permanent, carry over)
• Review category business performance and provide comprehensive reports and analysis to measure risks and opportunities.
• Measure forecast accuracy, elevate opportunities and risks in future business.
• Follow up on stock availability based on sales plan and elevate any business impact.
• Exchange with central Business and Sales Planning team the revisions and main gaps vs previous month.

Manage End of Season Inventory

• Execute regional end of season pricing and promotion plans
• Project end of season stock levels and identify any gaps in relationship to sales plans
• In collaboration with central, manage product lifecycle calendar

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and expertise:

• Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
• Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel & Powerpoint
• Experience in Anaplan, Luxury Retail, Leather Goods/Accessories is a plus
• Min. 5-7 years working experience in a planning function
• Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with high business sensibility and strong analytical skills
• Ability to travel 20% domestic and international

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000-125,000k annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
