As a Planner/Scheduler at Mana Products, you will oversee the end-to-end planning and scheduling of some of the world’s premier beauty products. You will plan, release, and schedule work orders from the generation of a customer’s purchase orders, through production, to final completion. As a planner/scheduler you will work to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing inventory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review New Product introductions, and Promotion Calendar to ensure that Supply Chain can support all program requirements.
• Interact frequently with manufacturing personnel to balance demand and customer service commitments.
• Identify failures to standard that impact manufacturing capacity/flexibility. Review monthly.
• Participate in meetings and keep up to date on issues related to Manufacturing, Planning, New Product introductions, Line Fill Rates, Metrics, and other related Supply Chain issues.
• Review capacity, account for any potential compression or constraints and make production plans to deliver finished goods on time for our customers.
• Monitor customer service commitments and assign production priorities based on customer needs and production availability.
• Publish and perform root cause analyses on key metrics including Customer Service Level, Actual vs. Scheduled Productions and Master Schedule Stability
• Manage production orders to minimize inventory excess and obsolescence.
• Review material requirements planning (MRP), process all MRP messages, and maintain the integrity of our ERP system for your assigned product family by ensuring parts lists, dates, work order statuses, routings, and quantities are all up to date and correct.
• Track key KPIs and work to achieve 95% schedule attainment by the shop floor.
• Create requisition Purchase Orders for primary components, or secondary packaging as required to fulfill customer orders in accordance with MRP requirements.
• Resolve issues by presenting various alternatives for decisions at monthly S&OP meetings.
• Plan, release, schedule, and track manufacturing work orders from inception at order entry through to completion of production for your assigned product family by using our ERP system (JDE) and our scheduling system (Access and ScheduleIt).
• Collaborate to resolve any potential issues and estimated completion dates to our cross-functional partners in Quality, Production, Customer Service, Warehousing and Engineering.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Time management skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Expertise with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience or familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Experience or familiarity with ERP systems (JDE, ERP, JDA)
• Minimum of two years of supply chain or operations experience (Preferred)
• Ability to identify and eliminate potential problem areas with an “out of the box” approach
• An independent thinker capable of working in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (major in Supply Chain or Operations Preferred)
