About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Recruiter, People Operations to lead our recruitment efforts. Reporting to the VP of People Operations, you will manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume, hourly positions across various departments including guest services, attractions attendants, food & beverage hospitality, facilities maintenance, and grounds maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong networking abilities, and familiarity with HR software and databases. Our preferred ATS is JazzHR and knowledge of this system is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to identify job requirements and competencies for vacancies as-needed.
• Develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the hiring needs for over 700 full time and seasonal positions.
• Manage job postings in recruitment systems and on various job boards.
• Utilize job boards, social media, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of roles.
• Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
• Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings.
• Attend job fairs throughout the NY metro area and coordinate geofencing recruitment strategies.
• Conduct regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans and implementation.

About You:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience recruiting for high-end corporate hospitality roles such as in resorts, country clubs, sports, etc. is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with using AI language models such as ChatGPT to streamline recruitment related tasks and activities.
• Familiarity with geofencing recruitment strategies.
• Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
• Must be highly organized and highly efficient with time management, accustomed to using technology for work automation such as Calendly, ChatGPT, Excel, AI sourcing tools, etc.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume recruitment.
• Ability to schedule and attend multiple job fairs throughout the NY metro area. Must have a reliable personal vehicle for this purpose.
• Willingness to complete a One-way Interview as part of our screening process.
• Hands-on experience with JazzHR or similar ATS is preferred.
• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as dictated by the needs of the business.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
