The Opportunity The Adobe People Analytics team is part of the Insights and Technology Operations organization in Employee Experience (HR). We empower Employee Experience teams and business leaders to apply people data and insights in their work, we build compelling people data solutions and support people reporting and analytics needs across global Adobe.
What you'll Do Aa Sr People Analyst contractor you will be an analytics thought partner for roadmap projects.
You will Collaborate with Employee Experience (HR) COEs to understand their key priorities and pain points.
You will use your strong people skills and executive presence to influence stakeholders so that design decisions are made with good data in mind.
You will lead design of metrics (operational metrics and business KPIs).
You will apply your deep knowledge of people analytics to articulate convincing rationale for creating new metrics: how they help answer specific business questions, how they contribute to/augment existing metrics.
You will prototype compelling and intuitive wireframes to answer key questions and drive actions for EX teams and business leaders.
You will work closely with engineers to build, test, and release the dashboards.
You will also advise HRBPs and COE teams on which people metrics from the employee lifecycle (e.g. recruiting, hiring, internal mobility, promotion, attrition, demographics and D&I) are most relevant to leverage to answer specific business questions.
You will help articulate hypotheses that can be answered using data and metrics Adobe already has and perform statistical analyses on people data.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with technical leaders, product managers, consultants, and business customers (end-users). It will be your job to bring in, share, and apply your technical expertise and creativity to respond quickly to newly emerging business needs.
What you need to succeed:
● Deep knowledge of people analytics (Recruiting, Hiring, Headcount, Promotion and Mobility, Succession Planning, and Attrition) (required)
● Experience with generating hypotheses using people data (required)
● Experience with performing statistical analysis on people data (required)
● Experience with data visualization with people data (preferred)
● Familiarity with PowerBI or Tableau (strongly preferred)
● Excellent written and oral communication skills (required)
● Experience advising on people data to HRBPs and/or HR COE teams (required)
● Experience influencing HR stakeholders and senior leaders (required
● Masters in relevant field preferred (not required)
● 7+ years of experience in analytics with at least 3 years in people analytics Logistics:
40 hours a week May – Mid September If the candidate is local, they will be working in person at our San Jose office (2-3 days a week); remote the rest of the time. If the candidate is not local to San Jose bay area, then fully remote.
