Position Overview


Our Webstacks team is growing FAST, and we are looking to add a Culture and Community Coordinator to our amazing crew! We are seeking a remarkable individual who can elevate Webstacks to become the most sought-after workplace in San Diego! This exceptional candidate should possess a creative eye to curate stunning aesthetics, the ability to craft killer playlists to keep the team motivated, and a knack for stocking the office with an array of delectable snacks that will keep everyone fueled and energized. This person should have a talent for organizing fun and memorable events that promote team bonding and enhance our office culture. Above all, we are looking for someone who can help foster a sense of belonging for all team members by creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Details of the role


  • Pay: $20/hour
  • Location: San Diego, CA (fully in-office)
  • Type of Work: Part-Time (24-30 hrs/week)


Daily And Monthly Responsibilities


General


  • Get a sweet system in place by creating Standard Operating Procedures that everyone can easily follow.
  • Crunch numbers and be a financial wizard to manage our office budget, and ensure every penny we spend aligns with our company’s financial goals.
  • Keep our day-to-day operations running like a well-oiled machine. That means everything from making sure we have all the supplies, overseeing office maintenance and repairs, handling all our mail and deliveries, and keeping our emails on track.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including our awesome employees, vendors, and community partners.
  • Make sure we are in tip-top shape by staying on top of office policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Tackle any issues or challenges that may come your way in a timely and effective manner, using problem-solving skills and sound judgment.


Employee Experience


  • Roll out the red carpet for new hires by assisting with the onboarding process and make sure departing employees have a seamless send-off.
  • Keep our office ship sailing smoothly by working teams cross-functionally to ensure seamless communication and coordination of office-related activities.
  • Create a workplace where everyone wants to be by managing the office space and layout, making recommendations for improvements to keep the office inviting, fresh and fun.
  • Executor of all things fun and inclusive by helping to plan some epic team building activities, wellness programs and other engaging activities.
  • Cultivate an environment that inspires employee creativity, innovation, and excellence in their work.
  • Continuously work to make Webstacks a safe haven for everyone by assisting with DE&I initiatives and even building out some of your own.
  • Be in the know of the latest and greatest trends that will make our in-office and remote team members happy and productive.


Objectives of this Role


  • Maintain workflow and acting as a liaison by analyzing and refining standard operating procedures, such as scheduling, communications, office layout, etc.
  • Stay on top of all things office related, including inventory for supplies and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests.
  • Creating and maintaining a fun enjoyable work environment for anyone who visits the office!
  • Continuously on the lookout to make our office environment top notch by gathering feedback, problem-solving and creatively thinking.


Skills And Qualifications


  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Must be able to move 50 lbs, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time
  • High school diploma, college/university degree preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Able to maintain a smile and positive attitude during times of stress (it’s a skill!)

  • Wearing many hats is challenging. As the Culture and Community Coordinator, you are the first point of contact in the office. You will need to have a grounded understanding and pulse check for all work that is happening, at all times.
