Job Description

We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our Hoxton Downtown LA Hotel team! As a part of the People & Culture team, you’ll assist a little bit of everything with a main focus on our human resources information system (HRIS), benefit administration & perks. You’ll report jointly to the General Manager and Head of People & Culture.


What you’ll do….

  • Help execute the department’s long-term people plan
  • Own the weekly and monthly duties of 401k administration
  • Assist People & Culture team with special projects and duties as needed
  • Be the driver of communications around team member perks and benefits being the go-to resource for questions and solutions
  • Assist the broader People & Culture team with preparing HRIS / benefits administration systems for yearly Open Enrollment
  • Play a part in the general administration of the people function - including recruitment, onboarding, benefits communication and management, training, and recognition programs
  • Assist the onboarding and offboarding processes of LA team members
  • Assist with all people compliance matters such as benefits reporting
  • Work with all departments through HRIS teaching and general assistance
  • Spearhead on property employee engagement programs in person, planning events and promoting engagement on our inner office platform
  • Partner with the People & Culture team with all aspects of the HRIS system including system access, reporting and troubleshooting

Starting Pay: $25 an hour
