Job Description
HubSpot’s global People Operations team’s mission is to attract and empower people to do their best work and help HubSpot grow better. As a member of the global Executive Recruiting team, the Manager of Talent Research will manage a team of Talent Researchers and partner closely with Executive Recruiters and our recruiting operations team to build a proactive, best-in-class talent research strategy to scale HubSpot’s leadership recruiting function. This leader will develop and execute an innovative and data driven strategy and will have experience developing a team while fostering an inclusive, high performing culture. This role will report to the Director of Executive & Company Pillar Recruiting.


In This Role You’ll Get To


  • Leverage data to make educated decisions in regards to optimizing our research strategy and your teams individual performance
  • Create a comprehensive strategy and repeatable processes to attract and engage top leadership talent that is continuously monitored and improved upon to ensure success
  • Contribute to building out a KPI & success framework for the research team that supports our People Operations objectives and goals
  • Experiment with new ways to improve candidate experience and leverage leadership network connections to help HubSpot’s leadership team gather important market insights and learn from other leaders in the industry
  • Develop your skills as a people manager through ongoing support, coaching, and internal resources
  • Lead and motivate a team of Talent Researchers as you curate a culture that is inclusive, results driven, collaborative and innovative
  • Partner with the Employer Brand team on innovative ways to differentiate HubSpot in the market as a destination for top leadership talent to grow their careers
  • Uncover new ways to proactively inform the recruiting team and business leaders on market trends, valuable competitive intelligence and nurturing opportunities
  • Help individual contributors grow their careers and skills through effective management of performance reviews, 1:1s, and by creating a psychologically safe, transparent and open performance feedback culture
  • Hire and onboard new Talent Researcher professionals and inform the organization’s design as we scale

Cash compensation range: 124600-199400 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
