User Research Recruiting Coordinator Contractor
Location: Remote in the US. CST work hours
Length: Initially through the end of the year
Pay rate: $40-46.50/hr. W2
The Sage Group’s client, a leading construction industry software company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented User Research Recruiting Coordinator to join the team. As a User Research Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the user experience of our products by supporting our research initiatives through identifying and recruiting participants who match our audience criteria. You will work closely with our researchers and designers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Responsibilities
· Participant Recruitment: Collaborate with researchers to understand the participant criteria for each study and develop a recruitment strategy. Utilize various channels and resources to identify potential participants, such as user databases, online communities, social media, and professional networks.
- Research Panel Development: Establish and maintain research panels composed of end-users of our software products. Create panels in Ethnio and in UserTesting platforms. Define panel objectives and create participant profiles for recruitment channels. Provide clear communication about incentives and the value proposition of participation. Ensure panel fidelity and uphold best practices of data privacy and opt-in protocols.
- Screening and Selection: Review participant applications and conduct initial screenings to determine eligibility and fit for specific studies. Maintain accurate records of participant profiles, screening responses, and recruitment progress.
· Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for participants throughout the recruitment process. Engage with participants via email, phone, or other communication channels to provide study details, answer questions, and schedule research sessions. Ensure clear and timely communication to keep participants informed and engaged.
· Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate research session logistics, including scheduling participants, researchers, and any necessary observers. Manage calendars, send invitations, and handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed. Proactively address scheduling conflicts and ensure all parties are well-prepared for research sessions.
· Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with potential and current participants to maintain a pool of reliable and engaged research participants. Cultivate a network of diverse participants to meet the needs of various research studies.
· Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records in designated systems or tools. Generate reports on recruitment progress, participant demographics, and other relevant metrics as required. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
· Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the participant recruitment process, identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality enhancement, and participant satisfaction. Collaborate with the research team to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
· Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, designers, and other team members to understand research goals, participant requirements, and study timelines. Provide regular updates on recruitment status, challenges, and potential solutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in participant recruitment or coordination, preferably in a user research or usability testing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficient in using productivity tools and software, such as project management systems, scheduling tools, and participant recruitment platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Ethical and professional conduct in handling participant information and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with participants.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and participant recruitment techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, human-computer interaction, sociology) or equivalent practical experience.
