Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Cytokinetics is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing first-in-class muscle activators and next-in-class muscle inhibitors as potential treatments for debilitating diseases in which muscle performance is compromised and/or declining. The Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer is responsible for employing creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage candidates for a variety of positions and levels; areas of sourcing focus include, but are not limited to, Research and Development (Pharmacology, DMPK), Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Clinical Operations, and Commercial.
Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Talent Acquisition projects which could include process improvement initiatives, social media, participation in user councils and/or in diversity events.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting; implement and manage initiatives to develop pipelines of qualified candidates in advance of the need.
• Actively champion diversity recruitment strategies and use sourcing techniques that reach diverse candidates.
• Conduct assessments on market competitors and talent supply to ensure the most effective sourcing strategies.
• Maintain all sourcing activities in Greenhouse ATS; provide recruiting activity reports for internal stakeholders and HR colleagues.
• Effectively source and pre-screen candidates and support the presentation to hiring managers.
• Collaborate with recruiters on filling and moving the front-end candidate pipeline forward through profile reviews, candidate contact and moving qualified applicants into the Talent Acquisition work-stream
• Establish and continuously develop networks and robust talent pipelines through industry contacts, university relations, diversity organizations, association memberships, and military affiliations to maximize recruitment resources and opportunities for the company.

Qualifications

• Experience using creative sourcing methods including Internet sourcing techniques, Boolean searches, referral management, and passive candidate outreach techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience recruiting/sourcing for the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
• Experience working with an applicant tracking system, preferably Greenhouse.
