Job Description

PathMatch is a Career Navigation App for Students and Recruiting Platform for Employers. Our client is seeking a highly motivated and proactive HR & People Ops Intern to join their dynamic People team. As an HR & Ops Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations, contributing to employee onboarding and orientation, and actively participating in the planning and execution of key HR programs, initiatives, and communications. This internship offers an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an early-stage HR department, where you will contribute to building a solid foundation for our fast-growing startup and foster an environment for Sandboxers to thrive.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and knowledgeable responses to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR & ops related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company knowledge base and internal wiki, keeping them up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Conduct research and implement solutions to automate HR & Ops processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Explore, research, and support the launch of new company programs and culture initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Compile and organize company-wide resources and tools, ensuring their availability and accuracy.
  • Collaborate in the creation and publication of HR communications, policies, and guidelines, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Enhance the new hire onboarding experience by streamlining and coordinating a personalized and attentive process.


Who You Are:

  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying information and ideas.
  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to contribute to innovative solutions.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources management, Business, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic background.
  • Possess excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail that ensures accuracy and completeness.
  • Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with various cross-functional teams such as Recruiting, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in working with Google Workspace, HRIS, people platforms, and productivity tools, leveraging technology to optimize HR processes.
