Job Summary

Responsible for the delivery of training, resulting in a workforce capable of maintaining a customer focus and competitive advantage in the insurance industry. Works closely with internal and external business partners to ensure that training is aligned with customer centric performance outcomes.

Compensation Minimum:$59,600 Annual

Compensation Maximum:$95,400 Annual

Job Level Summary

Primary Accountabilities

• Facilitates and delivers classroom and distance training.
• Evaluates the impact of learning solutions for quality, improvement of performance business impact and scalability. Conducts post learning evaluation to understand successes and improvement opportunities.
• Develops performance-based learning solutions to meet business needs.
• Creates a learning environment that fosters effective adult learning opportunities and supports the desired performance outcomes.
• Develops and implements testing and quality assurance processes.
• Keeps current on industry trends and best practices.
• Maintains the level of subject matter expertise needed to provide correct information and accurately answer questions from learners and business partners.
• Works effectively with Media and other vendors when learning materials are developed jointly.
• Cultivates relationships with internal client groups, including management, operations and other divisional stakeholders.
• Continually monitors instructional delivery best practices and learner assessments and adjusts techniques or recommends changes when appropriate.
• Ensures any class pre-work or post-work activities are identified, distributed and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Uses technology to design innovative learning solutions incorporating multiple formats and relevant adult learning activities, including e-learning, blended learning, classroom and virtual instructor- led material.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in successfully working in a customer service oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience with adult learning principles or demonstrated experience within the specific training disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
• Basic knowledge and understanding of education methodologies (e.g., 4MAT, Performance Based Learning, or Human Performance Improvement).
• Demonstrated experience presenting information to a wide array of audiences.
• Able to work flexible hours and shifts.

Travel Requirements

• This position requires travel up to 25% of the time.

Education & Licenses

• Property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Must complete required continuing education credits to maintain state property and casualty producer licenses.
• Required to pass the state licensing exam for property and casualty procedure licenses within 60 days of hire.
• Must maintain property and casualty producer licenses for all operating states and/or service states.

Ideal candidates will have experience using the following tools: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Captivate and/or Articulate as well as experience training within a care center environment.
