Position Summary

• Responsible for managing invoice requests, tracking them in Salesforce, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
• Seeking an Invoicing Clerk to join the Billing team within the Finance business unit
• Cross train in accounts receivables functions for team coverage
• Send invoices to customers, receive, sort, and track incoming payments, and resolve customer questions related to invoicing

Key Responsibilities

• Create manual invoices using QuickBooks
• Enter payment data into multiple systems
• Learn invoicing procedures to assist with requests
• Bill customers for products and/or services
• Check invoices for discrepancies and enter payment information into Salesforce

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to solve problems as they arise and maintain meticulous records
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and/or invoicing
• Minimum of 1 year experience with QuickBooks
• Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or relevant experience
• Excellent organization and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ARIBA
• Experience with Salesforce
• Located in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia area)

Reporting Relationships

• This position reports to the Billing Manager and has no direct reports

Work Environment

• Remote work with a preference for candidates located in the DMV area
