Corporate Research Manager - Remote ($80000.00 - $105000.00 / Year)

Overview

The Corporate Research Manager will support strategic growth, M&A, and corporate development activities. This position is responsible for supporting initiatives and strategic planning in the Strategy & Transformation department including market, competitive, and operational analyses. This role will serve as a key member of the team’s efforts to identify, assess, and prioritize growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with identification of M&A targets and analysis of relevant business and market characteristics
• Support UTI’s strategy by providing critical research and analysis relevant to growth and diversification initiatives
• Support high level change management planning and execution
• Develop and maintain a repository of market and business intelligence and a planned cadence for updating information stored therein
• Collaborate both within and beyond the Strategy & Transformation team to support cross-functional business initiatives where market research and analysis is needed
• Coordinate the efforts of established external research advisors and consultants to support strategic initiatives
• Analyze data and create reports and presentations which include actionable tasks and next steps
• Support the Regulatory & Compliance team with market research necessary for the submission of new program approval applications to various regulatory and accrediting bodies
• Other duties as assigned
• Conduct secondary and, as needed, primary market research on consumers, competitors, markets, and industries

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required, with degree designation or coursework in Business Administration, Market Research, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years experience in market research or a related field
• Experience with M&A is a plus

Skills

• Strong presentation skills, including oral and writing capabilities
• Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with educational and market research tools and databases (e.g., BLS, IPEDS, EMSI) strongly preferred
• Takes a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with shifting and dynamic priorities

Abilities

• Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday
• Will require about 10+/-% of overnight travel
• Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
• Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds or less 5% of the workday
• Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday

Work Environment

• This position is designated as Fully Remote
• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
