Help DC127 INC. with critical HR questions over the course of 4 weeks, in areas like hiring, compensation & benefits, HR policy, performance management, and workplace culture.
Our Mission
DC127 is dedicated to protecting children by empowering parents to preserve families. We provide wraparound services to parents and grandparents who are isolated, overwhelmed, and under- resourced. We advocate for new foster homes by providing information sessions and connecting parents to Child & Family Services Agency for licensing.
Fun Fact About Us
Our CFF program works to reverse the foster care list by meeting and working with families before they break apart. This is a unique in our field. We attempt to preserve families and strengthen our community through direct intervention.
What You'll Work On

• Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working. For this project, we also recommend working with a volunteer who is knowledgeable about the Organization's state policies
• Ongoing HR support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
• Support may include: hiring, compensation & benefits, HR policy & procedure, performance management, and/or workplace culture

Additional Details
We need to straighten out our HR policies and procedures. We need help getting started and navigating this process including, New Hire Procedure, HR Handbook, PTO tracking, Paperwork, Insurance Maintenance.
