The PCHI Human Resources team is focused on delivering people solutions that enable the business while aligning with PCHI’s purpose and promise to make Joy easy. Our HR Service Delivery model is organized around three groups: HR Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and Shared People Practices. This is a collaborative, highly strategic environment that is results-driven, agile, and customer-focused.
Job Overview:
The Regional Human Resources Director is the senior business partner for one of three regions in our field organization. The role is responsible for partnering with the US Store Operations business leaders to support the execution of the people strategy and human capital programs. They work closely with the business leaders to build teams and talent, lead change, execute HR processes and practices, drive accountability and performance and build a culture of engaged and customer focused team members.
This leader will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Regional Vice President of Sales and be responsible for guiding and influencing District Team Leaders and Store teams. The incumbent will be a transformational leader that uses data and insights to drive results and influences key outcomes. This field HR leader will provide advice on people, organization, capabilities and employee relations issues; they will leverage corporate HR resources and collaborate closely with the store operations team to implement processes and solutions that make it easy for store team members to have a great experience and deliver on our promise to customers.
Core Accountabilities:
· Lead execution of all HR strategies that support creation of a purpose driven culture, that makes it easy for every team member to be successful.
· Drive a culture of achievement by proactively consulting Field and Store Leaders on individual, organizational and/or business issues that impact day-to-day performance and achievement of individual, District and Store objectives.
· Support transformational change by providing direction, communication, leadership and effective solutions to drive behavior change needed to support a growth mindset.
· Drive a Celebration Culture within the Region that engages all Team Members in the company’s Purpose, Promise and celebrates accomplishments and reinforces A-Player behaviors.
· Lead performance management strategies, assisting in the development of priorities, action plans and performance counseling that drives business goals.
· Coach and teach field district and store team leaders; provide actionable feedback and recommendations to improve individual and team performance.
· Partner with Talent Acquisition and Staffing to coordinate labor, staffing and recruitment for all store positions. Drive proper candidate experience and a achieve a successful staffing strategy.
· Leverage reporting and insights to identify trends and overcome labor, compensation and staffing challenges.
· Fuel a robust and inclusive talent pipeline by leading a consistent Talent Assessment & Succession planning process within the region. Build a talent pipeline and assist in career growth and development exercises.
· Ensure that all government requirements (Federal, State and local), filings, postings, and laws are satisfied for each location. Minimize risk to the business by ensuring that all managers are trained in required legal subject areas.
· Develop and implement local communication plans to maximize and drive employee engagement and create an inclusive and diverse working environment.
· Coordinate and influence leaders to conduct on-going powering achievement conversations, coaching leaders on how to set priorities for Team Members and conduct continuous conversations that effectively to drive a culture of achievement.
· Partner with the Learning and Development organization to create and support a culture of development.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced HR certification or training a plus.
· 5+ years in multi-unit HR management role. Retail experience is a plus.
· Able to travel up to 50% of the time supporting the assigned region.
· Strong talent management and Employee Relations experience required.
· Must exhibit sound business judgment, demonstrated problem solving ability.
· Must possess a solid understanding of employment law.
· Demonstrated ability to drive company initiatives and lead change.
