Job Description
Do you possess effective people management skills? Are you well-acquainted with HR functions and best practices? Are your written and verbal communication skills excellent? Is your meticulous attention to detail a distinguishing trait? Are you skilled at multitasking and prioritizing tasks according to their importance? Is your computer literacy extensive, encompassing proficiency in email, G Suite, and other related business and communication tools? If this sounds like you, then you might be Fivesky's next Jr. Human Resources Coordinator.


Who you are:


  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, G Suite, and related business and communication tools.


What you will do:


  • Work closely in the termination process and liaise with all departments to ensure final pay, IT security, and all elements are processed timely and accurately.
  • Conduct background checks and handle any conflicts in the check processes.
  • Serve as initial contact for managers and employees regarding policies and procedures including time and absence policies; may refer complex and/or sensitive matters to HR Manager.
  • Any other tasks and projects as assigned by the HR manager.
  • Administer and oversee onboarding. Ensure that new hires experience a smooth, positive, and effective start.
  • Maintain files, electronic and some paper, in conjunction with w/privacy guidelines.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide confidential feedback to the HR manager.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
  • Track and document the life cycle of employees within the company.
  • Oversee time and order processing.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the performance management cycle; Provide guidance on performance management activities throughout the year.
  • Obtain feedback and develop an appropriate offer package in consultation with the HR manager.
  • Research issues, review all available data; and seek guidance on more complicated issues requiring strategic discussion and planning.


It would be awesome if you had:


  • Experience using Salesforce, CoAdvantage, and Greenhouse.
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • A clear understanding of FMLA, PFL, and Disability benefits.
