We are looking for a highly experienced and energetic SVP of Operations who will lead the TopView operations department and significantly contribute to our company’s expansion and growth. You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the organization and you will be accountable for all end-to-end operational processes across TopView and all its affiliates. The right candidate is a motivated professional with exceptional leadership and time management skills and good communication abilities. You have to be efficiency and cost oriented, performance and data driven with an extensive understanding of the importance of automation in a cost-effective operation. You also have to be hands-on in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Note: This is a full-time, on-site position based at our corporate office (11 E 44th St, 6th Fl). This position will require travel within the U.S. and abroad.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement KPIs across the department to lower costs and increase product excellence.
- Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, engineering, marketing, finance, and other key stakeholders to deliver on strategic goals.
- Conduct ongoing assessment and development of an efficient, accountable, results oriented, visible, and responsive Operations department.
- Achieve thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, provide in-depth strategic insights to the executive management team.
- Identify, propose, and implement necessary overhauls of company functions to automate any processes possible, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
- Lead the company operations vision and growth, develop frameworks and roadmaps for operational initiatives.
- Continuously assess and implement improved processes to lower cost and improve the product offerings.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to our Operations department, spanning Bus Operations, Marine Operations, Bike Operations, Entertainment, and Customer Service.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Responsible for translating the company's strategic vision into execution, driving a high-performance culture, setting and enforcing standards within the Operations department.
- Continuously optimize and standardize SOPs and develop documentation for scalable and more efficient operations.
- Develop, assess, and manage the department's quarterly and annual operating budget and service delivery forecasting as agreed to by the executive management team. Fully own the P/L for all products.
- Generate and provide operational reports to the executive management team and CEO.
- Implement policies and protocols to drive operations efficiency and cost efficiency.
- Own and oversee all company products’ operations globally; act as a driving force for the company’s vertical and horizontal expansions.
- Establish the company as a global leader in the corresponding industries through service excellence.
Requirements:
- This position requires 50+ hours per week on average.
- Extensive experience managing a team of 350+ full time and part time employees in a hyper-growth environment.
- Extensive experience managing a large and diverse portfolio of products with a track record of delivering highly competitive, disruptive solutions while meeting or exceeding delivery goals.
- Performance-driven, results oriented.
- Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in a senior operations leadership role (Director, VP, and above) in a high-growth environment.
- Experience in relevant industries is a plus (transportation and logistics, events, hospitality, cruise lines, theme parks, etc.).
- 3+ years managing a $50M+ operational budget.
- Financial acumen with experience building solutions in a resource constrained and fast paced environment.
