Ares Management is seeking a Vice President to join our Global Client Solutions (GCS) team focused on Investor Strategy & Solutions and Sales Operations in Los Angeles, New York City or Denver. Investor Strategy & Solutions is expanding its team to support the firm’s strategic objectives related to fundraising and client service. Ares is a flat, flexible, and dynamic organization. Reports to: Partner, Head of Investor Strategy & Solutions; Managing Director, Head of Investor Operations & Services


Primary Functions And Responsibilities


  • Support the design, implementation and training of new functionality and related business processes; provide thought leadership and input to ensure that enhancements align to product vision and while meeting needs of the business.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of standardized fundraising processes and lead efforts to improve operational efficiency through ongoing system and business process enhancements.
  • Develop additional ad hoc and standard reports to support internal analytics and reporting needs.
  • Partner with the Relationship Management and Investor Relations teams to deliver actionable analysis, high quality reporting, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in GCS and Investor Relations to streamline and optimize data collection and the user experience.
  • Conduct complex analytics across various aspects of our sales and marketing strategy and execution, including; market segmentation, win-loss statistics, customer acquisition lifecycle, conversion rates, translating findings into operational recommendations.
  • Partner with Salesforce IT team to assess the business impact of requested system enhancements and prioritize the backlog of requested changes and updates.
  • Perform complex analysis using internal and external data sources to deliver enhanced insight and increase the effectiveness of the GCS team.


Qualifications


Education:


  • College graduate with a major in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, General Business or Management preferred, with outstanding academic record

Experience & Skills Required


  • Experience working with alternative asset classes is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Einstein Analytics)
  • Competencies with Microsoft Office, Excel and handling big data
  • Experience using coding languages (e.g., R, SQL, Python)
  • Proficiency with a CRM and managing CRM data. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sales operations or similar disciplines including financial and strategic analysis, capital raising and business growth strategy

Compensation


The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.


$180,000.00 - $225,000.00
