The Senior Vice President of E-Commerce will have global responsibility for driving top-line revenue for G-III’s e-Commerce and will own the strategy, development, and execution of G-III’s forward-looking digital roadmap. The SVP will be responsible for owning and scaling G-III’s end-to-end e-Commerce business with direct responsibility for the owned e-Commerce P&L, performance marketing, e-Commerce partnerships (i.e. Amazon, Walmart, Macy’s, etc.), and all G-III digital sites. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, innovative, and strategic leader to substantially impact and revitalize the e-Commerce presence of a well-known brand.

Specifically, s/he will:

  1. Own the full P&L for G-III’s owned global e-Commerce business, and end-to-end digital customer experience and performance marketing for both owned and non-owned e-Commerce sites
  2. Assess the current and desired-states of G-III e-Commerce and deliver a strategy that increases on-site conversion, strengthens the digital brand, and ultimately drives revenue
  3. Oversee partner development and guarantee successful relationships with key clients. In particular, focus on expanding the relationships with Amazon and Walmart as well as other key retailers
  4. Partner with the GMs of the licensed brands to ensure a cohesive e-Commerce strategy and presence
  5. Build and enhance an immersive digital experience through all aspects of site layout, product positioning, navigation, merchandising, functionality, and the entire online checkout funnel
  6. Analyze the G-III e-Commerce business across all channels and make it all come together as a cohesive business unit
  7. Install rigorous tools, technologies, and performance metrics to track and enhance customer behavior and response, and identify areas for continued growth
  8. Foster a culture of testing and iteration to keep G-III on the leading edge of e-Commerce trends and best practices
  9. Collaborate with other Business and Functional Leads to align on initiatives that grow G-III’s revenue base across all channels and brands

Professional Qualifications

  1. Proven excellence in the leadership and execution of a premier e-Commerce business, with deep knowledge of the drivers of that business
  2. At least 10 plus years of digital commerce experience at a high-profile brand or portfolio of brands, with experience in P&L ownership
  3. Track record of successfully increasing site conversion through modern e-Commerce tactics, technologies, and strategies
  4. Broad knowledge and expertise across all aspects of e-Commerce including technology, testing, site traffic measurement, conversion analysis, merchandising, user behavior, and customer retention
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret extensive data to make actionable recommendations to the business
  6. Proven experience expanding upon existing relationships with e-Commerce partners
  7. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build successful relationships internally and externally
  8. Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top e-Commerce talent
  9. Demonstrated strategic ability to work with senior executives to ensure continuous growth and process improvement
  10. Experience working with global partners and distributors
