Our events are located in major cities throughout the country – LA, Austin, San Diego, Miami, Chicago, DC, etc.. About The Role

RTM is looking for a Vice President of Operations to drive operational excellence, improve financial and technological strategies, and optimize efficiency in policy/procedures. Reporting directly to the Co-Founders, you will manage a diverse range of responsibilities to facilitate growth.

The ideal candidate will align profit, loss and revenue objectives to establish a clear understanding of the company’s financial milestones and business targets. You will focus on simplifying our systems, processes, and technology stack to support the company’s growth and scale. This includes streamlining the daily administrative responsibilities of the executive team, and facilitating focus and accountability based on the company's objectives.

RTM operates under the Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS). A key part of your role as VP of Operations will be to function as the “EOS Integrator” - understanding the larger picture and strategically positioning yourself, and the company, in a way that allows you to accomplish business goals and be the go-to person for company vision.

Navigate challenges while driving a positive, constructive work culture

Create improved meeting cadences, reporting structures and engagement

Plan and lead all executive and operating team meeting

Implement a tracking system for timelines, accountability and decisions

Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects and programs as directed by the Co-Founders

Identify pain points and gaps in current processes, event design/delivery, monitoring and evaluation

Financial Management And Margin Control

Lead and manage strategic compensation planning

Event Profit & Loss

Control business operating costs such as optimizing investments in our technology stack to achieve optimal financial and operational performance

Collaborate with the executive and finance team to develop and manage budget and forecasting

Project Leadership

Spearhead key company projects, both within departments and cross-departmentally, aligning with the strategic objectives of the Co-Founders, ensuring timely and successful execution

Establish planning, reporting, prioritization and cadence to optimize, strategic decision-making and resource allocation

Process Improvement

Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency across all business functions

Improve and evaluate company-wide systems and processes to ensure efficiency and scalability

Coordinate and simplify our systems, processes, and technology

Manage and improve KPI cadences ensuring buy-in across the organization’s leadership

Create and support company-wide alignment on performance expectations for each role, ensuring consistent adherence to high performance standards

People Management And Hiring

Utilize exceptional hiring, training and development skills to build high-performing teams and effectively manage personnel

Working with executives and HR team to maintain a high level of retention and company morale

Skills and Qualifications Proven Vice President of Operations or similar role in a growth-stage company, with experience scaling a company organically.

Strong financial and operational management skills.

Proficiency in project management, with a track record of leading complex projects.

Expert in process improvement and system optimization.

Exceptional hiring, people and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Event industry experience is a plus.

A nuanced understanding of event budgets and Event Profit & Loss statements.

Experience with the Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS) or similar business models.

Experience with acquisition/integration is a plus.
