SVP Sales - Lifesciences


The SVP Sales will be a member of sales leadership team and report into the Chief Growth Officer for HCLS SBU with a dotted line to the Business Unit Head. This person will have overall responsibility of a targeted ACV quota.

We prefer someone from the Lifesciences Industry experience with good understanding and experience of business process outsourcing or IT Outsourcing (BPO/ITO), but will consider strong Sales Executives who are driven, adaptable, and match the criteria below:


Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years of sales management experience, with working experience at the senior executive level within the Lifesciences marketplace


  • A proven track record in consistently meeting/exceeding sales goal
  • Direct the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities for all, or a major portion, of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to create maintain and continue profitable and growing executive relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Effective listening skills
  • Be able to actively engage with LS business executives mostly C-Level personnel to articulate the attributes of our solutions and offering as well as understand the Lifesciences environment into which they are being offered
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in cross-functional selling, with an ability to present oneself in a professional manner at all times
  • Be responsible for developing, managing, and creating the relationship between the organization and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at target companies, at C-levels
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects as well as with internal resources This is a U.S.-based position; applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Target specific corporate customers, provides leadership to sales organization in developing strategic account level business relationships, and helps develop and execute corporate client level marketing and selling strategies
  • Training experience in a selling methodology, and training in account management is desired
  • Solid familiarity with the Lifesciences industry and a good overall understanding of the Lifesciences industry, trends, and products
