Role Overview:
As our experienced Senior People Operations Specialist, you'll report to the Senior Director of People & Culture and be at the heart of our organization, taking charge of day-to-day operations, nurturing employee engagement, streamlining processes, ensuring compliance, handling employee relations matters, and leading our recruiting initiatives. With your friendly and authentic personality, you'll infuse our HR practices with a touch of brilliance, creating a work environment where our team can truly thrive. Your expertise and innovative mindset will empower us to deliver exceptional employee experiences and cultivate a vibrant company culture that sets us apart.
Primary Responsibility:
- Streamline day-to-day HR operations, from seamless onboarding to managing change actions and maintaining accurate records.
- Foster employee engagement through imaginative initiatives and recognition programs. Let's build strong connections together!
- Manage our HRIS system like a pro, ensuring accurate employee data and implementing efficiency enhancements to keep things running smoothly.
- Take charge of designing and implementing innovative people programs, from rollout to communication, reporting, and maintaining key metrics.
- Drive effective internal communication plans, ensuring everyone stays informed and engaged through engaging company-wide communications, announcements, and meetings.
- Draft clear and concise policy updates that are easy to understand and implement, making complex information accessible to all employees and promoting transparency in our practices.
- Unleash your creativity in developing and spearheading Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that promote and foster belonging, inclusivity and well being for all employees.
- Leverage your data wizardry to generate insightful HR reports and analyze metrics, providing valuable insights to our management team.
- Act as player/coach to support managers, offering guidance on employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Be the employees' go-to person for all people-related inquiries (excluding benefits & payroll), providing prompt and friendly assistance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline People processes and boost efficiency by updating templates and workflows. Your attention to detail and optimization skills will shine!
- Play a pivotal role in our recruitment efforts, crafting captivating job descriptions and conducting interviews that showcase our remarkable culture.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and teams to understand their talent needs, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with overall organizational goals and objectives.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar HR/People Operations role, handling a wide range of people-related projects, issues, day-to-day and designing and implementing innovative remote people programs and initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and easily understandable manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. (please note: a combination of relevant work experience and education may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.)
- Proficiency in assessing the impact of external factors, such as market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, on HR strategy and making necessary adjustments.
- 3+ years experience in full lifecycle recruitment in tech/start-up industry
What We Offer
Compensation:
The starting cash compensation range for this role is $110,000-150,000 inclusive of Base Salary + Variable Target, vs base salary only. This position is also eligible for equity & benefits. More information will be shared regarding your specific location during the hiring process.
Our compensation market ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum cash compensation target for new hire compensation for this position based in the US. Exact individual pay is determined by actual location, skills, capabilities and experience in addition to our benchmarking factors.
