People Operations Coordinator

ABS Kids has a brand new position to provide administrative and project-based support to the various People Operations functions - Human Resources, HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition and Marketing. This full-time position will be based in our Sugar Land, TX office with a hybrid option.

Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Every team member at ABS Kids is passionate about providing best in class support to our direct care providers, who in turn deliver the highest quality ABA therapy to our patients.

What will you do?

• Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email
• Assisting with recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and cross-boarding employees
• Setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, distributing reports and managing the correspondence between the office and external bodies
• Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, managing interactions with building management, addressing any cleaning and organizing concerns
• Support the People Operations efforts including, but not limited to:
• Keeping track of employee information and documentation
• Answering general questions concerning the company
• Other duties may be assigned including but not limited to cross training in essential function of the department and providing coverage as needed
• Assisting with special projects and event planning
• Type reports, memos, letters and other documents using word relevant computer software

Who are we looking for?

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, with ability to think proactively and prioritize work
• Familiarity with online calendars and cloud systems
• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
