About The Role:
This role is hybrid and the successful candidate will need to be able to commute to our Centennial, CO office.
When you join ACI, we will have about 300 team members, but our plans for the next 5 years have us at 600+. You will have direct reports, so superb leadership skills are required. To excel in this position, you must have a strong understanding of best practices in HR and thrive in an environment where you are building or refining most of the processes; leaning on automation and platforms where possible. Strong expertise in compensation, benefits, employer branding, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compliance and employment law, talent acquisition, PEO (ADP) administration, analytics and HRIS (HiBob) administration.
This role will model, promote, and uphold a values-driven culture focused on being authentic, accountable, dedicated, innovative, passionate, and united as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead intake, make recommendations, and support resolution of sensitive employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- In conjunction with hiring managers and recruitment supports, oversee all aspects of recruitment processes.
- Serve as a reliable source of information pertaining to HR policies, practices, and processes in response to employee and/or manager requests.
- Support development and refinement of key HR lifecycle processes as needed.
- Support professional development; mentor and coach team members.
- Convene regular one on one meetings with all direct reports.
- Participate in compensation surveys, develop new wage scales as necessary, and develop new position descriptions.
- Facilitate resolution of issues escalated with HR, including basic employee welfare needs regarding benefits, payroll, HRIS, leaves of absence, and other general employee questions.
- Effectively delegate duties and responsibilities.
- Oversee the process and completion of annual performance reviews by the management staff.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Provide consistent and ongoing feedback and communication.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external HR standards and applicable labor laws, including state-specific labor laws such as Colorado and California.
Qualifications:
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
- HRIS experience required, ADP and/or HiBob preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR experience.
- Practical knowledge of HR laws and pending legislation is necessary.
- Effective oral and written communications and presentation skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related field required; Masters in HR (MHRM), Management and Leadership (MSML), or related field preferred.
- Ability to work effectively and lead in a team environment.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
