Job Purpose
The Senior University Relations Specialist will partner with business leaders to create impactful, engaging work experiences while sourcing best-in-class talent. This role will develop and cultivate relationships with identified schools, to grow our talent pipeline. The primary focus is leading and executing all university-related activities that directly support the placement of students into internships. This highly visible position will partner closely with business and HR leaders to create and manage a world-class internship program while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Essential Functions of the Job
• Design, develop, and execute a campus recruiting strategy and programs to recruit top talent from universities, colleges, technical schools, trade schools.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with target colleges and universities, including student organizations, faculty, and career services.
• Support the design, planning, launch and maintenance of internship and hiring programs.
• Schedule and participate in on-campus events including job expos, career fairs, classroom presentations, interviews, information sessions, etc.
• Partner with the Marketing and Communication department on social media campaigns and e-mail blasts to ensure the employer brand remains strong among university partnerships.
• Devise and communicate recruiting calendar and plans, school policies, deadlines, event details, and logistics on recruiting season and general early talent metrics.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and educational institutions (the student's faculty sponsor, the school's career center director, and/or career counselors).
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline from universities, alumni, and interns
Intern Recruiting:
• Accountable for the full life-cycle intern recruiting process: identify, recruit, screen and recommend candidates to fill intern positions as well as extend offers and begin the on-boarding process.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through managing the end-to-end recruitment process for internships and other university relations programs.
• Assists with reporting and tracking of all university recruitment metrics.
Intern Program:
• Liaison between Human Resources and intern Managers to build best in class intern program.
• Create environments for all company interns to meet and share best practices by scheduling and hosting virtual events, meetings, workshops, Lunch & Learns.
• Create an intern success profile for each division to measure goals and progress.
• Coordinate the intern off boarding and termination process including exit interviews.
Tournament Recruiting:
• Develop a strategy on creative ways to partner with Universities on acquiring talent.
• Liaison between Leadership and University partners to build a best-in-class Tournament hiring program.
• Collaborate with our University partners to create programs that help reduce/eliminate high fallout.
• Schedule and lead all campus tours
Physical Demands
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties such as but not limited to: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
• Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Relative Experience/Education:
• 3-5 years experience in the Human Resources field required
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; five years’ direct Human Resources experience may be substituted for a formal degree
• Experience in University recruiting is required
Projected Work Schedule:
Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
