Global Leader, People Operations - Digital
The Digital business unit of Rockwell Automation supports the world’s largest companies on their digital transformation journey through consulting, technology implementation, automation, data science, and managed services.

As the Global Leader, People Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Digital People Operations team to drive Digital’s people strategies and mission of attracting, retaining, and developing best-in-class talent. You will align with the Global Digital Business Director, the HR Business Partner and organization leadership to develop and execute people strategies across three primary people functions – People Operations, Engagement & Development and Training:
- People Operations: Ownership of global project staffing, talent acquisition activity and intern programs. This function is accountable to client service utilization and drives resource mix and strategy.
- Training: Ownership of three-tiered training strategy – Consulting, Technical/Industry and self-paced/on-demand training programs. This function is accountable to training metrics and annual engagement survey results.
- Engagement & Development: Ownership of employee experience and rewards, cultural engagement, and performance/career development. This function drives the communication and actions associated with the annual engagement survey results, retention analysis results and DEI metrics.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Partner with Rockwell Automation Human Resources teams including HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards.
- Proactively provide insight, guidance, and leadership to team on organizational design, change management and/or people challenges related to growth, acquisitions, or the development of new businesses.
- Navigate a highly matrixed organization understanding how the different pieces fit together across Digital and Rockwell Automation. Build and maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders.
- Oversee global teams that own the employee lifecycle from role identification, early career programing, onboarding, performance, staffing, career development, training, workforce planning and DEI.
- Ensure core technology and processes are effective and scalable as needed across the business, maintaining value, accuracy, and data-driven insights.
- Create and maintain a culture that empowers the digital business, values innovation, emphasizes people and performance management, employee engagement and invests in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Work closely with the Digital leadership team and Rockwell Automation HR Business Partner as a trusted advisor to help maintain a high performing culture by driving strategic and proactive talent processes and programs that align with the business and people strategy.
- Drive business utilization and profitability by managing workforce through staffing and performance management processes.
- Lead across global people team, ensuring alignment with region leadership and adjusting practices for unique region/country elements.
- Demonstrate problem solving to scale the global business while effectively collaborating with key stakeholders
- Drive training and development strategy, aligning with leadership and training team to launch measurable and impactful programs with an objective of increasing employee engagement and maintaining a highly skilled consulting workforce.

Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires 8 years of experience
- Bachelor Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing talent strategies and executing plans aligned with the culture and overall employee experience to drive business outcomes.
- Experience in professional service organization; preferably in a management consultancy.
- Experience demonstrating business fluency and knowledge.
- Global experience, particularly with a remote team.

The Base Salary Compensation range for this role is $146,240-$219,360 with an annual target bonus of 10% of base salary. Our company benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
