TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced IT Director- Business Solutions General & Administrative in Atlanta, GA.
This role will report directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, in Atlanta, GA. The Director Business Solutions-General & Administrative is responsible for the life cycle planning of business solution through selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, retirement, and disposal and also includes the orchestration of IT delivery to the business partner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with stakeholders to accomplish the solution work in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the application portfolio and minimizes its ongoing support costs.
- Facilitate the governance process to gain consensus on a prioritized set of measurable business outcomes that applications must support.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders across the business, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational priorities.
- Overseeing benefits realization to ensure the business outcomes are achieved.
- Manage relationships with Senior Stakeholders with status updates, issue resolution and expectation management.
- Communicate rules/ decisions with impact on IT to business partners (e.g., budget cut)
- Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the applications organization for General & Administrative to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals.
- Develop productive relationships with business leaders and business partners across the organization with focus on (but not limited to) General & Administrative units in the US to influence how applications can enable new sources of value based on a detailed understanding of the issues, challenges, and opportunities that they face.
- Oversee the assessment of the technical and business fitness of the solution portfolio and their associated costs and risks.
- Work with stakeholders and the governance council to define a prioritized set of application work to accomplish aligned business outcomes within the limitations of the applications budget.
- Align and engage the team in the strategic vision. Provide clarity to each team member on their role in achieving the vision, strategy, and goals.
- Oversee the successful delivery of aligned business outcomes in partnership with business colleagues.
- Align complex program roadmaps, diverse stakeholders, and inter-dependencies, especially with business initiatives.
- Orchestrate contributing employees, e.g., Analysts during demand specification, Project Managers during project delivery, IT Delivery Managers (role description see on later slides) and 3rdparty suppliers for service delivery.
- Ensure suitable delivery of projects and services – End-to-End accountability – taking over the Single Point of Contact for General & Administrative functions.
- Ensure that project and change activities are in line with business strategies and the IT strategy
- Ensures work in the domain is compliant with all applicable TKE Regulations and security.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Expertise and experience in IT demand management and IT service delivery, with specific focus on General & Administrative functions (Finance/ Controlling, HR, Legal, Communication, Asset Management, …).
- Lead the technology selection activities, in collaboration with the business partner, to achieve responsive enablement of business case with consideration to IT operations and management objectives.
- 5+ years of experience managing global team members in application development, implementation or management in either HR or Finance.
- Strong understanding of business requirements
- Develop with other IT leadership, technology, partnering, and implementation strategies to reduce cycle time from idea to implementation. This includes opportunities to further leverage strategic platforms like ERP, CRM, HCM, RPA, Payroll, etc. The purpose of this activity is to accelerate the delivery of IT enablement services.
- Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years IT experience in technologies within the respective solution delivery area as well as 8+ years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging across multiple global, remote working teams.
- Strong business domain knowledge in General & Administrative functions
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, and the ability to evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Strong Business as well as Business Process mindset, when interacting with business.
