Classification: Exempt

We are seeking a business analyst to join our finance department at the Doggett corporate offices. You will work alongside accounting, IT, and operations to provide insight into business performance. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, identifying and solving gaps in process and reporting, and performing some user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to communicate with both non-technical and highly-technical users.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
• Identify process and risk gaps and use the resources at hand to work with operations to suggest and assist in implementing solutions.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Perform user acceptance testing.
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
• Work closely with financial, technicians, and managerial staff.
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
• Perform requirements analysis.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Manage competing resources and priorities.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

Business Analyst Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or an MBA.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Experience with BI software
• Experience with dealership-type businesses.
• Knowledgeable in SQL and Procede and TargIT a plus.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
