Job Description

Our client in the healthcare space is searching for a Business Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our client’s business objects and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and recommending effective solutions to enhance our operations and drive strategic initiatives while working closely with the recruitment marketing team.


The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This is a project-based opportunity (estimated 40-60 hours total), 100 % remote (PDT), and the candidate must reside in CA, WA, OR, or TX.


As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify project requirements, and gather user stories.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making. Develop data models, perform data validation, and generate reports to support business needs.
  • Solution Design and Evaluation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that address identified business challenges. Evaluate proposed solutions, conduct feasibility studies, and provide recommendations based on cost, benefits, and technical considerations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of standardized methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Project Management: Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities. Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Act as a liaison between business users and development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.


Who we’re searching for:

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to build relationships, influence decision-making, and drive consensus.
  • Business Acumen: Sound understanding of business processes, organizational dynamics, and industry trends. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment. Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience in data analysis, process modeling, and requirements management.
  • Tools and Technologies: proficiency in Excel and CRM tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Active listening skills and the ability to facilitate effective group discussions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. Flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay range:

  • $50-$66/ hour, depending on experience
