What will your role be?

Scalian is looking for a Business Analyst with experience creating detailed technical guides and training/support documents in support of various projects for our client such as:

· Gov Cloud infrastructure activities

· Gsuite Migration Support

· VDI Project support

· Infrastructure support activities

You will be responsible for facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, conducting structured interviews and research to gather information in order to create detailed documentation of installation, configuration, operation, and support of the assigned technical applications, equipment, solutions, and services.

Activities:

• Propose added-value solutions based on the latest innovative technologies to extend our clients' Standards preferentially
• Assist the business stakeholders by providing inputs and guidance in Business Case development
• Elicit and capture detailed business requirements including scope and objectives to populate the Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Ensure the right understanding of Business stakes and needs by providing high-level Functional Architecture diagrams (Actors' interactions, Objects/Data flows, interfaces…)
• Be an active Actor in Domain and Project teams, supporting Project Managers to deliver in Time, Quality, and Cost the solutions Architecture and Design that meets both Business and stakes (Added-Value Solution, viable at operations) with respect to Strategy and Security
• Translate and simplify requirements through the requirements gathering process by performing requirements analysis to document true business needs
• Contribute to Project Planning to identify/remediate any gaps between as-is Functional \ Architecture and Solution definition/operation needs
• Contribute to the development of best practices in requirements management for Product Development
• Be the primary interface between the organization and business stakeholders
• Contribute to skills and knowledge ramp-up proposing Awareness, Training, and Demonstrations; POCS…visit on any interesting new concepts or Technologies
• Capture and challenge high-level business requirements and scope in the Project Initiation Form
• Ensure continued alignment of the business requirements, business case, and solution throughout the Project Delivery process

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

• Strong in employing validation and verification methods to ensure the correctness of business requirements
• Skilled in detecting errors in analysis, design, and development
• Strong experience in business case development
• Soft skills – presentation, synthesis, interpersonal skills
• Ability to use modeling techniques to document and confirm functional requirements
• Must have a deep understanding of one or more of the following Business domains: Engineering, Manufacturing, Customers Services, Finance, HR, Legal …etc.
• Experienced in business analysis and functional design
• Experience in GovCloud
• Must be a US Citizen / Green Card holder
• Technical skills in Requirements Development Framework & tooling, Visio, Project Management
• Proven experience in Solution Design, Development, and Deployment
• Experience with digital solutions and collaboration tools for remote teams
• Ability to write clear, concise, consistent, and complete requirements
• Excellent knowledge of business models and Information Systems
• Very good knowledge of IT technologies and Concepts
