Position Summary:


The Business Analyst for Global Operations works with cross functional colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements for transformational projects and processes. They facilitate discussions with key stakeholders and executives to identify and document detailed business requirements for new technology implementations, new process initiatives and data management projects. The Analyst identifies all use cases, key success criteria and clear scope for projects. They work closely with members of the Global Operations team to execute and deliver measurable value to the business.


Essential Responsibilities :


  • Develops and conducts peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
  • Assists in conducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts
  • Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications
  • Participates in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized
  • Conducts interviews to gather internal customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
  • Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of all stakeholders
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary
  • Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and developing strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
  • Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
  • Assists with the interpretation of requirements into feasible options and communicating these back to the business stakeholders
  • Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood
  • Translates conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
  • Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
  • Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics


Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:


  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • At least five (5) years experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience working in a Lean Six Sigma or Agile methodology environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis in advanced Excel skills
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
  • Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s strategic goals and OKRs
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
  • Energized in a fast-growing environment
  • Working knowledge of Window Suite of products


Required Education & Certifications:


  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience


Compensation:


  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $91,000 or more depending on experience

  • Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
