Purpose Of Job

Reporting to the Business Partner Organization, this role is focused on assisting with the strategic alignment and relationship between IT and the Business stakeholders while being a thought leader and partner to the business for all things IT. This role is critical to enable the IT Business Partner service model for Interstate Batteries and ensure IT is a solution-oriented partner to enable value add capabilities.

Job Components

• Assist with the creation and maintenance of IT Budget.
• Builds relationship between IT and Business Stakeholders and serves as the escalation point for systemic issues.
• Responsible for Project Delivery.
• Assist in the creation of an IT Strategy for their subject area.
• Participate in IT Governance meetings with Senior Business Leaders to present projects and enhancements for prioritization and approval.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience with sales, marketing, or e-commerce teams.
• Detailed business process knowledge across multiple business domains such as Finance, Sales, E-Commerce, Marketing, Research & Development and Business Development.
• 3+ years’ experience with strategy, project management, annual planning, completing large and small projects, and creating and delivering technology solutions in a consulting organization, IT organization, or for a software company managing and delivering IT projects.
• Working knowledge with IT software evaluation, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, or other relevant discipline
• Experience with SAP and the functional modules supporting the business functions of this role preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required.
• Excellent relationship, change management, and communication skills.
