Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our collaborative project team. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with fellow analysts to drive business excellence through detailed requirements analysis, meticulous process documentation, and rigorous user acceptance testing. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers and end-users, to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate their business needs. - Partner with project sponsors to define project scope and vision, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Identify project stakeholders and customer classes, along with their distinctive characteristics. - Employ various methods, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and site visits, to gather customer requirements effectively. - Tailor requirements analysis approaches on a project basis, defining impact, outcome criteria, and metrics. - Collaborate with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements. - Evaluate and enhance existing requirements-gathering processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness. - Assist in researching products to meet specified requirements and support procurement decisions. - Participate in quality assurance efforts for purchased solutions, optimizing feature functionality. - Contribute to the selection of requirements documentation software solutions, if applicable. - Scrutinize and validate requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and adherence to standards. - Create clear and concise requirement specifications using standardized templates. - Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional specifications for developers and the project team. - Develop process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide project stakeholders. - Conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure accurate interpretation. - Help interpret customer requirements into feasible options, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders. - Manage and monitor requirement status throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments as needed. - Effectively communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to project managers, sponsors, and stakeholders through written documentation and verbal interactions. - Provide guidance and instruction to junior team members. Qualifications: - 4 to 6 years of experience in information technology. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in research techniques and methodologies. - Experience with data analysis tools and techniques is advantageous. - Familiarity with agile methodologies. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, sprints, grooming, and retrospectives. - A solid understanding of business processes and operations. - Willingness to thrive in a flexible environment with multiple competing priorities. - Keen attention to detail. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
