Looking for a Product Owner (Business Analyst) with min. 4 years of experience with Technical Project Management experience to support Agile team, The Business Analyst will work closely with Business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, adaptation and presentation skills. Serves as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in truly understanding the business's needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle. This position has strong partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups and may also be called upon to lead other IT project work based on changing project demands.
Primary responsiblities below
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management tools like JIRA
- Facilitate Sprint Refinement sessions with Agile team (Tech) and LOB and revise Sprint Plan, update User stories, and refine estimates
- Attend daily stand ups to plan Sprint deliverables, clarify requirements, identify blockers and dependencies, and coordinate resolution of blockers for the agile team
- Prepare key details and actively participate with providing updates/status reports in Portfolio Execution meeting
- Create User Acceptance stories, align to Sprint, and conduct gap assessments
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning event and team breakout sessions to define requirements, identify dependencies, plan incremental Sprint deliivery, and refine estimates (as applicable)
- Understand the architecture and application design to identify dependencies
- Ability to Identify and manage internal / external dependencies for project
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or equivalent 5 year experience in related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input from others
- Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills
- Knowledge of ***systems, including Nexus and Rally
- Has the ability to draft effective internal communications
- Process-improvement skills
- Mobile or web based software development project experience
- Positive attitude and sharp personality
- Organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams
- Effective time-management skills
- Requires PC skills, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of Project Management (Agile and Waterfall discipline), operating policies, procedures and practices
- Good knowledge on Agile Lean Software Delivery Life Cycle and/or iterative development life cycles.
- Ability to work in an high paced work environment
