Client: One of the largest cosmetic firms in the US

Job Title: Global Operational Excellence & Organizational Development Director

Job type: 100% Remote (Need to work in EST hours)


Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean methodologies, with expertise in driving mindset shifts and promoting continuous improvement within large scale online organizations.
  • We are seeking a results driven Global Operational Excellence & Organizational Development Director to join our team.
  • The role will focus on implementing frameworks, training programs, and iterate on them to help get those changes in place to ensure online operational excellence & foster a culture of innovation within a rapidly shifting/ ever changing work methods.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning within the organization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, methods, and frameworks related to continuous improvement, and evaluate their potential for implementation within the organization.
  • Drive the adoption of new ways of working by providing guidance, changing management techniques, and leading by example.
  • Support the design and implementation of strategies for post-incident analysis, retrospectives, and other learning-focused activities.
  • Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Program Manager and other stakeholders to shape and refine the team's processes and frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and office hours to educate and bring together individuals and teams in adopting Lean and Agile principles.
  • Analyze data, including net promoter scores and engagement metrics, to identify opportunities for change and develop & implement strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with training teams to create and scale training materials, workshops, and learning programs.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and office hours.
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and their application to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Continuous learning mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing industry trends and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in large organizations or mature online spaces is preferred.
  • Strong practitioner skills, with the ability to analyze data and synthesize findings into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in driving mindset shifts and promoting a blameless learning culture.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Proven experience and expertise in Lean and Agile continuous improvement methodologies.
