AgileXtended, LLC is seeking an Organizational Engagement Director (OED) for our Organizational Change Management (OCM) book of work. The OED will be responsible for cultivating targeted change in the client’s culture, processes, and practices. This role will focus on creating change initiatives by conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various products that require artistic direction. The OED will be a point of reference for any creative plan within the organization.
The Organizational Engagement Director (OED) will be expected to thrive in (and sometimes cause) reasonable levels of chaos and understand that today’s position description could be outdated by tomorrow. The OED will be able to:
- Build collaborative, trust-based relationships with the customer and with the OCM team.
- Create visual and interactive approaches to facilitate the identification of the current state (challenges) and possible paths toward targeted outcomes (solutions).
- Partner with OCM consultants to identify visual and interactive solutions to meet organizational needs, drivers, and opportunities.
- Design gamification activities and assets to foster changes in behaviors, both individually and organizationally.
Some key attributes of an Organizational Engagement Director for organizational change are:
- Commitment to customer value delivery and continuous improvement.
- Experience in DEI space with examples of deliverables that demonstrate commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and cultural sensitivity.
- Envision creative concepts and strategies that are insightful, relevant, innovative, and emotionally effective to the outcomes.
- An open mind with the willingness to experiment and “pivot” if an initial approach is not delivering value.
- Creating content deliverables, including logos, visual one-pagers, animated videos, and audio and video editing.
- A cognitive/empathetic approach to change with the ability to design artifacts that help people at all levels of an organization feel heard and understood.
- The ideal candidate is a visual designer with demonstrated animation/motion expertise and the ability to support multiple transformation initiatives while maintaining holistic alignment.
The Organizational Engagement Director must have:
- The ability to work as part of a collaborative team with the confidence to take on independent/autonomous tasks.
- Envision creative concepts and strategies that are insightful, relevant, innovative, and emotionally effective to the outcomes.
- Hands-on graphic, audio, and video designer with communication, story-telling, and co-creation skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, with a broader array of Adobe Creative Suite program proficiencies being highly valued.
- Innate curiosity and willingness to learn and follow a new, non-textbook approach.
- Demonstrable experience in creating materials that contribute to organizational change.
- A demonstrable understanding of how to creatively leverage lean and agile principles.
