You Are

UST HealthProof® is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Manager of Operations Excellence with experience across all business operational functions (e.g., enrollment, authorizations, claims, COB, network, and payment). This role will report to the Director of Operations Excellence for specific processes and direction. This role requires the ability to work both independently with limited supervision and collaboratively in a team environment. The primary objective of the Manager of Operations Excellence is to develop, document, schedule, and manage E2E Process Improvement Reviews that measure the compliance, integrity, and quality of operational services (such as claims or enrollment operations) for all UST Healthproof clients.

The Opportunity

• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned by the manager
• Develop end-to-end quality process improvement review procedures
• Provide leadership to the process improvement review team
• Facilitate the reporting of findings to business operations management
• A strong contributor to the team, sharing ideas with the team and across the Operations department
• Identify routine and non-routine process improvement procedures that should be performed
• Understand the types of contracting arrangements that need to be configured in the appropriate applications to support the claim's accuracy
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate concisely and clearly across a range of channels/communication tools with internal stakeholders
• Support in gathering information and compiling reports for meeting presentations
• Coordinate with internal departments to implement process improvements or solutions identified through strategic planning
• Superior organizational skills and the ability to multi-task across several tasks/projects simultaneously for various accounts
• Analyze data to assess the accuracy of each operational process
• Identify trends and anomalies within business processes and perform root cause analysis

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

• Six Sigma certification, preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to dissect data elements, identify root causes/trends, and quantify the “cost of non-compliance”
• Ability to manage resources in a multi-client environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to excel independently and in a team environment
• The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• 6+ years of experience in a healthcare environment with a solid understanding of business operations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management
• Ability to collaborate with Customer teams and represent UST HealthProof

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.  As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for Role

Remote: $74,000-$112,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
