Job Description

Company Overview:

GITAI is a leading space robotics company committed to providing safe, affordable, and highly capable robotic solutions for space exploration and infrastructure. Our robots are designed to assist with building and maintaining space stations, satellites, and lunar colonies for space organizations and commercial enterprises.


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Consultant with a strong background in the space industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing high-value contracts (over $10M) and possess a robust network within at least one of the following sectors:


  1. New space companies (e.g., Blue Origin, SpaceX, Axiom Space, etc.)
  2. Traditional space companies (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Sierra Space, etc.)
  3. NASA
  4. Other government agencies (e.g., the US Space Force, Air Force, Navy, etc.)


The primary focus of this individual will be to connect GITAI with potential customers and partners, leveraging existing connections to identify and secure opportunities for GITAI's space robotics solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the space industry, including government agencies and major aerospace enterprises
  • Coordinate and lead client pitches
  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct market analysis, and lead innovative approaches to expanding our client base


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong network within the space industry, including contacts at NASA, the US Space Force, and other leading space organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role within the aerospace or space industry
  • Proven success in securing high-value contracts (over $10M) with commercial aerospace enterprises or government agencies


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling robotic solutions or advanced technologies within the space industry
  • Demonstrated success in lobbying efforts to secure contracts with government agencies (e.g., NASA, DoD, CIA, FBI)
