We are currently partnered with a rapidly growing site management organization who are looking for an experienced business development expert to join their team and help continue their growth. Our client is private equity backed and have grown from 2 to 12 sites over the past 12 months! They are looking for candidates who have successfully been able to bring in new clinical trials to site management organizations in the past.
This is a full time (40 hr/week) remote opportunity (must sit within the US).
Position Summary:
As the Business Development Manager for our clinical research company, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and forging strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential sponsors, negotiate partnerships, and create mutually beneficial collaborations that align with our research capabilities and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated track record of successful business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate our company's value proposition and capabilities to potential sponsors.
- Identify, prospect, and establish connections with potential pharmaceutical sponsors, including pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and other relevant stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business development opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead the end-to-end business development process, from initial contact and relationship-building to contract negotiation and partnership closure.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand your professional network and represent the company's business development interests.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with our research capabilities, ensuring the feasibility and success of potential collaborations.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to ensure consistent growth and achievement of revenue targets.
