Job Description

With a global reach spanning two dozen languages, we build Voice AI products with conversational intelligence for cars, restaurant ordering, and more, allowing our customers to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways.
SoundHound is looking for sharp, highly motivated individuals to join our post-sales Small-to-Medium Sized Business (“SMB”) Account Management Team. As an SMB Account Manager at SoundHound, you will work efficiently and optimally with our SMB restaurant customers by deepening the relationship to increase retention, grow revenue, and expand services. This is a client-facing role as an individual contributor.
This virtual/remote role is available throughout the United States. The salary for this position is $66,000. In addition to salary, you will receive a commission bonus, equity (RSUs), and benefits like healthcare and paid time off.
In this role, you will:
  • Proactively plan and connect with your book of business through outbound phone calls, monthly reviews, and ongoing performance
  • Find opportunities to cross-sell related products by working cross-functionally to expand your accounts
  • Build meaningful, lasting relationships to make SoundHound the AI solution of choice for our restaurant customers
  • Proactively identify key risks within your book of business
  • Lead a book of business of the highest value SMB accounts using SoundHound for Restaurants
  • Champion restaurant partner feedback to help drive insights
  • Grow accounts through location expansion and driving adoption with restaurant customers
  • Ensure 100% customer retention and growth for your defined book of business
  • Work cross-functionally with POS partners for continued enhancements to the overall experience
We would love to hear from you if:
  • You have CRM experience, preferably using Salesforce
  • You can clearly frame a value proposition and ask the right questions to be able to overcome objections to gain commitment from your clients
  • You have an outstanding work ethic and pay attention to detail
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, constantly evolving team environment
  • You have experience with conversational AI
  • You are willing to roll up your sleeves and get in the weeds with our highest-value customers to hit quarterly and annual revenue, retention, and adoption targets
  • You have experience driving deeper adoption within your book of business, including prospecting new contacts, working with end users, and account discovery to identify new opportunities or locations
